SERVICES PRICE LIST FOR TANK CLEANING, MOVING AND FISH/ PET BABYSITTING:
Tank cleaning services:
Single or monthly scheduled tank cleaning: 75 cents per gallon
Twice a month tank cleaning: 70 cents per gallon
Weekly tank cleaning: 65 cents per gallon
Tank set-up/ removal or moving within a single location:
5-55 gallons: $10 per tank 56-125 gallons: $15 per tank
WE DO NOT MOVE GLASS TANKS ABOVE 125 GALLONS OR
200 GALLONS ACRYLIC.
Services included in price:
20-35% water removal
full gravel vacuuming
glass cleaning (inside and outside)
limited decoration cleaning if needed
filter(s) inspection and cleaning if necessary
water replacement to proper level and temp
addition of Prime, Pristine and Flourish Advance( if live plants present)
evaluation and recommendations for keeping tank clean and healthy
Fish/ pet babysitting services:
$10 per visit (total number of visits to be determined by customer)
$2 additional for all other non-fish pets
additional pets include all domestic house pets. WE DO NOT FEED OR
MAINTAIN FARM ANIMALS.

WHAT’S OUR STORY?
Welcome to the Glass Box Tropical Fish. I'm Killian, the co-owner of this shop along with my wife Sarah. We opened the Glass Box in 2020 out of our deep passion for fish. We have 41 years of fish keeping experience, and we pride ourselves on having the best looking and healthiest fish in the entire Kitsap area. We are the only dedicated fish shop in the county.
We care for every fish we buy as if they were our own, until they find a new home with our fellow hobbyists. We don't use any shared water systems or automated equipment. We clean each tank by hand, the old-fashioned way. We feed the fish a variety of food, tailored to their dietary needs, using the same products we offer for sale. You can see the results of our dedication and passion in the color and health of our fish.
We also have a relatively small supply section. That's because we only sell equipment and supplies that we personally use. We won't try to sell you any unnecessary or gimmicky items. We will only recommend and sell what you really need to keep your tank healthy and clean. That's our promise to you!
Additionally, we have a 30-gallon and a 125-gallon tank that we use for rescue. Through our rescue program, we have taken in hundreds of fish and found new, permanent homes for them. From guppies to oscars, they all deserve a second chance. We don't make any profit from this program. We only charge for food and maintenance costs to keep it running.
We have learned a lot from our experience of keeping fish for many years. We have also made some mistakes along the way. But we have found the best way to keep our fish happy and healthy, while saving money on maintenance. We enjoy sharing this knowledge with our customers. No matter if you are a beginner or a veteran, we are always ready to offer our advice and help you solve any problems with your tank. We also love to hear about your achievements in this hobby. This is a rewarding and lifelong passion that we love to share with all of our friends who love fish, plants and other water pets.
